Your Life is a Project
Human life is a project that is full of risks, the objective of which must be achieved through adequate planning, executing, managing and controlling the cost and other qualities required in other to be able to finalise all activities before the close of the project i.e. before you die.

Your Life is a Process
I prefer to view human life as a process. When I expressed this at a management meeting, a (male) colleague reverted that he viewed his life as a project, which immediately triggered another colleague to comment "... and your wife is the project leader".
If life indeed was a project, who is the project sponsor, who'll get credit for achievements (or punishment for lack thereof), who assesses different toll gates throughout the project? Are there any toll gates, or just mile stones?

My Life is More Than Just a Project
I know we just feel this way sometimes. But I will still debate to call my life more than just a project.
