Total Quality Management and ISO
What is the appreciation of TQM practitioners, who have been applying TQM models such as EFQM, Malcolm Baldrige or CAF, of the latest version of the ISO standard 9004:2009 managing for the sustained success of an organisation? Has it changed your views on the further development of TQM?

TQM and ISO Many TQM practitioners, especially in the middle level or lower, ask the same question if there is no commitment from top management to apply TQM.
These reactions mostly come from people in organizations with strong political nuances. But in organizations with low level political nuances, or in other words, strong in system implementation, I still believe that TQM is a good standard.
So in these cases the TQM practitioners would get the work satisfaction in their workplaces, since they have done their bests for something they believe in for the organizations they work for.

TQM and ISO Require Management Commitment @Murty Magda Pane: I agree with you that TQM systems do not work in organisations where the management is not committed to implementation of quality systems. This is then left to lower, middle management which lacks the backup from higher management, rendering any quality system into a paper tiger. In these cases a firm TQM implementation is impossible.
