Take the time to identify where you ultimately want to take your business.In my experience, businesses heading into business process improvement (read Lean Six Sigma) projects should take the time to identify where you ultimately want to take your business. Why is this so important? Because it can be difficult to improve a specific process if there isn’t a clear idea of what the outcome should look like. I suggest that businesses take a step back from a specific BPI initiative, and create a compelling overall vision. Take a look at some simple vision statements such as:
