A Leader / Manager should Accept Faults

Awareness is the key to good management.

A leader / manager should accept faults and always be ready for improvements in character, surroundings and subordinates. By being aware of what is around him/her at the workplace and updating his/her communication skills and time management skills in the ever changing environment of management.
The majority of managers see corrections as a weakness. Whenever they are wrong they'll look for a scapegoat and blame surbodinates.
This makes communication very hard - especially when a surbodinate wants to report a fault but he/she fears he/she might be blamed or suspected.
Furthermore it'll make decision making very hard on both sides that's the surbodinate who'll take time to report a serious fault like a faulty pressure valve but since a previous incident was blamed on him/her, he/she will take a long time to report and thus the fault becomes more grave. Also the decision making process will take a lot of time and finances (which could have been used for upgrading the establishment or worker force) are lost to repairs, which again will affect effeciency in terms of production and the trust between the parties.
