Profit-Seeking Through Needs-Focused Innovation
In Ho Kim, Member, Professor

Adaptive Goodness through Needs-Focused innovation in Needs Evolution results in Profit.

Only needs-focused innovation brings about profit.
In doing business there exists a norm to guarantee business success.
Accordingly a 'Seek Norm & Get-to-Norm' can be used as logic of needs-focused innovation.
This paper builds the general theory of profit-seeking through needs-focused innovation, by setting up a Calue Creation Dynamic Model (VCDM) with the standpoints of holism, synthesis and dynamism based on explicit needs theory, firm power theory and self-organization theory as rationale, by deriving the normative propositions about ‘Seek Norm & Get-to-Norm’ from VCDM, and verifying them through a qualitative empirical testing.
Finally this paper asserts that the 'Seek Norm & Get-to-Norm' would generally be applicable to any firm in any industry under any circumstances where innovation’s effect is influential.
