Law office Management as a function of a Human Resources Manager is a business strategic function in any forward looking law firm.
Gone are the days law office management was viewed as unimportant, any modern law firm must consider law office management as a very important part of legal practice.
Law office management involves a manager with good management skills which is necessary for any type or size of law firm. This therefore means that any serious law firm must engage the services of a practice manager/administrator to manage the day-to-day activities of the firm. However, the job of a practice manager is far above just the day-to-day activities of the firm. The practice manager is a strategic partner in the firm. He must be concerned with profit making as well. Therefore, he must possess good sales& Marketing skills, Clients Management skills, financial & Budgeting management skills.
