Cycle Based Management
eduardo oliva, Professor

All situations, current and prospective, evolve in a cyclic manner. Failing to acknowledge this fact leads to undesirable situations, frustration and waste of resources.

Nature is our best teacher. Everything in nature does occur in cycles, whether we notice it or not.
Therefore it would make sense, for practical purposes, to pose the hypothesis that, regardless of the situation under analysis, it has evolved to its current situation through a set of some unknown (but nonetheless guessed) cycles of events.
Do not take my word for it. Make an honest examination of a problem or undesired situation that our simplistic thinking solved (we thought so) but has come back under a different look. Got it? Now, work on it under the cycle thinking approach, find a couple of obvious cycles and take the corresponding actions. Getting better?
Excellent, you are on your way to much better problem solving. Best wishes Eduardo.
