Motivation and Human Nature
ANUJ KUMAR SHRIVASTAVA, Member, Manager, India

A human can never be motivated. You can Just push and show a way. A person always need to be self motivated to perform best and be successful.

We as a company in HR spend a lot on Motivation programs and trainings. We call some speakers and expect them to motivate our colleagues or workers.
But a very simple question is CAN SOMEBODY MOTIVATE OTHER? The answer to this is NO NO NO! The trainers and consultants in this field fool people all around To be Frank what we can do personally is show people the way of being Positive, rather I would say Optimistic. We in training give a push and explain motivation.
A person or a Human can never be motivated but he needs to be self motivated. Let me explain this. After a training we find few of the people start performing while others still remain the same. Why did this happen now though all people attended the session? The answer is so simple. The person who was self motivated picked up the path we showed in training. He accepted and practised the tricks we thought them. And such a kind of person will always contribute to an organisation in a positive manner thus trying to uplift his career in a right way.
End of the day Management needs to invite the speakers who say that they can guide and show the right way to be motivated and not the people who promise to motivate people. Such people are just talking Fake an dd making there business.
