The Standard Procedure Series: a Phenomenology Model of Being That is the Basis for Performance Appraisal by the Sustainability Model
![]() |
![]() A Model of Being is presented that is the kernel of the standard procedure series, which is a format for presenting knowledge that makes it an asset that can be monetized directly. The human resource, HR is an asset according to what the person knows, and how it is presented. And knowledge is an asset when the phenomenon is clearly specified, so that the items also outline the procedure for making the phenomenon. Then the following conclusions will also hold:
Serially: 3. Essentials..... SPS 2. Synergy.......... 6. HR Asset 1. Energy............ 5. Knowledge Asset 4. Limits This is the standard procedure series, SPS. It derives from a model of being according to which phenomena are conceptualized as waves. Thus a phenomenon would be adequately defined by two, 2 features, including its size, and its location. But because of the limits imposed by the environment, size is developmental. Nature is characterized by space and time. This makes motion a central component of being. Phenomena would therefore necessarily have origins and destinations, in the form of beginnings and endings. In terms of development these would include respectively, minimum conditions for existence and the optimum nature beyond which it would be fruitless to attempt any further improvements. Then every activity would include a core or kernel component in which the minima is nurtured into the optima or desired nature. This is done in time, which is a variable that has proven to be out of the control of humans. But energy is also required, which is more easily controlled. Moreover given energy, time would be determined. The energy is derived by fission, when a phenomenon is split. In this case, when the size or developmental element of phenomena is reduced into the nurture and nature components, energy is released according to how appropriately it is done. The energy is required for the propulsion from the minima to the optima. It is required to nurture the phenomenon from inception to the desired nature, for growth. Given the energy that is released therefore, for the growth process an impulse would have to be determined, which can be sustained from beginning to end. Then the time frame would be determined accordingly. More than this however, in situations when the energy is not sufficient for sustenance, usually because the fission was not so successful, location would be determined according to how far the growth process is able to progress. Serially: 3. Impulse, L1...... Appreciation, F 2. Nature, A2 .......... 6. Development, A 1. Nurture, A1 ......... 5. Growth, L 4. Sustenance, L2 This is an outline of the standard procedure series, SPS. Then, phenomena are, because they have been adequately specified, and the procedure for making and sustaining them clearly outlined. And these have been done within the limits imposed by the vagaries of the environment; as well as the structure that holds the items together in one piece. Because of the limits that the environment imposes, phenomena start out small, and need to be nurtured into a nature that defines its optimum being. The rate at which this happens is also limited, according to the impulse that can be sustained. These are actually boundary conditions! And for synergy, so that every member of the team that is to engage in the process is adequately informed, the four, 4 boundary conditions are structured uniquely, to define the standard procedure series, SPS. The model of being that is the fundament for the SPS is summarized in the series below: 3. Environment...... Being 2. Procedure.......... 6. Synergy 1. Specification...... 5. Energy 4. Structure Synergy is a function of servant leadership. Because most people fall short of the requirements of the SPS, leadership becomes a sacrifice in which, the few who Excel in this standard loose, for the others to gain. The energy that is derived from the application of the black box model, BBM to the thought process by fission is evaluated as the factor-C’, which measures motive strength. It has been found to correlate with the character factor-C exactly, at a correlation coefficient, r of r = 1. The factor-C is the input to the measure of ROI on the value creation model. And the sacrifices and gains have been evaluated in terms of the synergy, SGYF that individual personnel contribute to the organisation. Leaders were found to score less than organisation’s synergy, SGYOrg for SGYF < SGYOrg. This is an indication that they have been sapped. For the others, the individual scores were found to exceed the organisation’s, for SGYF > SGYOrg, an indication of gain. . |
