Typology of Leader in Traditional School (Pesantren; The Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia).

There are three stages of leader typology in Pesantren:
I. The first stage is the INITIATING LEADER. He is not open minded, but an innovative leader. It happened to pesantren which had a progressive system in its initiation stage. The indicators are:
1) kyai (=leader of the school) refuses and rejects current school system;
(2) kyai tries to create the curriculum of pesantren;
(3) kyai develops human resources;
(4) kyai transforms entrepreneur skill.
II. The second stage is the PEAK PERFORMANCE LEADER. He is an open minded and innovative leader. It happened to pesantren which has progressive system. The indicator's are:
(1) kyai builds a school;
(2) kyai creates integrated curriculum between school and pesantren;
(3) kyai develops human resources;
(4) kyai transforms entrepreneur skill.
III. The third stage is the DECLINING PERFORMANCE LEADER. He has an open mind but is not innovative anymore. This is happened to pesantren which has a lacking system and development. The indicators are:
(1) kyai doesn't develop the curriculum of pesantren;
(2) kyai doesn't focus to develop human resources;
(3) kyai doesn’t transform entrepreneur attitude
