if high salary is the only factor for job satisfaction?

high salary can play a major role for a psychological distress as it creates a blockage in employees mind and interferes in decision of taking better job at better place but less pay.

high salary cannot be a factor for job satisfaction its just fulfillment of basic needs of any human need.
recognition, respect and significant role in an organization are the things that an employee will definitely look for after spending and dedicating a period in he organization. sometimes people create sense of fulfillment by convincing themselves that they don't need anything more even if he or she is more qualified and can contribute effectively & efiiciently and management uses this psychological point of view of employees for themselves, they use their efficiency without acknowledging them, in this way the employess never discovers their talent and keep thinking that they are in the growth mode and accepts the fact of not getting promotion for their work. one can say its a trick and other can say its a strategy to minimize attrition rate.
high salary can be depicted as a diamond prism where an entrapped employee see the refracted image of everything. only few of them can take a bold decision of switching job once they realize what exactly they deserve.this realization factor can get triggered on observing current market trend for the same job profile and also word-of-mouth.
however on the other side high salary with valuable role in an organization is something like treasure....whoever gets it shall nurture it and utilize it wisely.
