Knowledge share
Carol Akimanzi, Member, Other, Uganda

In an environment where staff are disengaged, please crosscheck their supervisor's people skills. Many staff get disengaged from their work because their supervisors do not share knowledge and skills. The staff can only do routine work and therefore has no opportunity to learn! Their talent is tied down to what the supervisor thinks they can do. Every person has a great potential. Our duty as supervisors is to expose that potential without any fear for how else will we learn something new? To supervisors: "There is power in letting go! Then our hands are free to handle something new!"
