After 20 years of continuos growth the business coaching sector is close to its maturity phase. Supplying an effective coaching service to individuals is not enough anymore for a business coaching supplier to survive in a more and more crowded market. It is important to differentiate the value proposition by combining coaching with other development methods in order to create a customized service to organizational needs.


After 20 years of continuos growth the business coaching sector is reaching its maturity phase. Supplying an effective coaching service to individuals is not enough anymore for a business coaching supplier to survive in a more and more crowded market. It is essential to differentiate and increase the value offered by creating customized services to organizational needs. One possible way is the capability to design systemic service architectures integrating coaching with other organization change and people development methods to support more complex evolutionary organizational needs. An example is an approach answering the need spread out in many large corporates to develop a more effective and quicker innovation process. Innovation is an issue where more flexible behaviors and attitudes are essentials to people operating in the various functions connected in the innovation process, all focused on different and often conflicting objectives. Individual coaching coupled with other methods such as a team coaching and training modular path and some real project team work may offer an important boost to this evolution.
