Effective HR Communication : Need of Business

Communication holds the key and creates a difference to impact bottomlines

As a business HR partner , if you and your team dont understand the impact of making effective communication, you have lost the battle ! Business HR partner role demands to make a communication which create a difference to businesses. As a responsible HR professional it is expected that you give directions to employees, flow of the discussion to be in correct direction, understanding the basis angles and tangents of the discussion which an employee can make. It is very imperative that you are able to foresee what an employee expects out of the communication. Making responsible, matured, precise( not sharing not so required info) on the floor and senior management will create a lot of engagement amongst the employees and will directly hit the bottom line by enhanced productivity. Think about a situation, you created a change in policy ( not much in favor of employees) and did not have a communication plan and it is done in an autocratic way, believe me the disaster management will take ages to correct itself and your credibility will be lost too sooner than you would have made it. Each day when I begin my work, I try to ensure that today I wont make any disasters in my communication to ensure that HR creates a lot of difference. Effectiveness is both in what & how you speak & write !!
