Subordinates are powerful arm of management, let other opinions work

Greetings to you all friends, may I please know why certain leaders in certain organisations, people whom we regard as managers tend to look down on the good ideas and opinions some subordinates may bring out. I have encountered numerous of such abysmal approaches from the side of my managers and to the best of my knowledge, it was a welcoming idea which others outside my organisation adopted and it works. Could you friends alert me on the implications of the opinions of these people once it's implemented and the benefits which may be derived from them and is it advisable to quit your position on the job as your leaders refused to recognise your contribution to the growth and development of the business even though it might be your area of greater interest, Under what type of management do you place such act of leadeship? Thanks.
