We assist to an overwhelming increase of courses supplying management knowledge in the title. What is the science behind that?
To manage is nothing else than to gather resources to, with the most efficient method, achieve a set or one goal.
Therefore the science behind is economics.
More recently, we had knowledge on Human Behaviour (coming from Psychology) and try to identify ways in which people (the several publics around the holistic firm or organization) react, think, act, make decisions. But again, we use a framework combining the parts in several ways,...to be efficient on commitement to the defined goals.
Management is then a framework, a set of techniques.
Don't you think so?
