On why we need whistleblowing and its protection (GAP example)

Talking on the huge lack of accountability from the goverment, financial institutions and simply employers we need to stress on the important role of whistleblowing as the first step to prevent the wrongdoing. Regret to understand that for today the system of whistleblowing is taking under state support only in the USA, somehow in Europe. As it was mentioned through researching, Europe tends to be more conformiste while the USA stands for democracy. Whistleblowing does not mean bucking the system that works for ages. But when the inpropriate actions are taking place in company there needs to be rescue for those who rights were biased. Surely, there are courts, you may say. But another well-known point as unjust trial. To make a long story short the one conclusion is in place: any employee should know that the reasonable belief of the law was violated is enough to blow the whistle. Moreover, there needs to be the whistleblowing policy to protect such dissenters from retaliation. It's well-known how these people are played a crazy card from their opponets' side. Thus, basically it's a problem of goverment first of all to establish transparent relationships through the labour legislation, and secondly, each company should be prepared for accountancy referring its employees. Anyway, the best way to prevent losses and misunderstandings is to approve such a whistleblowing policy that will be concerned not to break up by anyone...
