STRATEGIC SEQUENCING OF RINGLING BROTHERS BARNUM AND BAILEY

Blue Ocean Companies need to build in the sequence of buyer utility, price, cost and adoption.


My initial thought was that Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey was a Red Ocean Company. They were a traditional circus company appealling to the young with lions, tigers and bears. Other organizations/companies have come on board to improve or incorporate ideas for not only the young, but young at heart. Do you think Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey are a Red Ocean or Blue Ocean Company? If Red, what can they do to become a Blue Ocean? Is there a reason families should continue to bring their children to the circus shows? Should they price tickets to attract the mass market? Thanks for any comments you provide.
