Loyalty for the Organisation not Useful Anymore?
Bana Kheirbeck, HR Consultant, Syria

Loyalty for the organisation is not always good.

Dears, loyalty is tradtionally very important due to the fact that the employee has a permanent salary therefore why should he leave the organization. I think that this is not a loyalty, rather it is financial needs.
I think in this century, loyalty for the organisation is not a useful issue for the following reasons :
* Firstly, one should change to other organizations in order to meet other experiences in different organisations and also to share his experience with others.
* Secondly, staying in the same organisation till the retirement age will make one's life monotonous and routine life doesn't motivate creation.
I think organisations should overcome this obstacle by creating a good system of job rotation (employee can serve in different department in the organisation with different jobs : for example, an employee can work for finance department in payrolls , invoices and budgeting, after a period he can move to the procurement department , then to human resources department, etc.) In this way I think he could be more efficient and effective for the organisation.
