기술
미국 회계기준(US GAAP)은 미국에 있거나 월스트리트에 등재된 기업에서 일반적으로 수용되는 회계원칙이다. 미국 회계기준은 거대한 분량의 표준, 해석, 의견 및 게시물 등으로 구성되어 있고, FASB(Financial Accounting Standards Board, 재무회계표준위원회)와 SEC(Securities and Exchange Commission, 증권거래위원회)에서 개발하였다.
미국 회계기준은 정책적인 조직에 의해 권위있는 표준들을 모아놓은 것으로 회계처리에 있어 수용되고 있는 방법들이다.
