简介
在过去的200多年里,商业企业对于人类社会的影响无疑是巨大的。
所以,当越来越多不同背景的人对于企业目的这个话题发生兴趣、展开讨论,也就不足为怪了。让我们看看都有哪些人对企业的存在目的发生了兴趣,他们包括:
- 经济学、法学、政治学、社会学领域的学者,
- 商业伦理和道德的研究专家,
- 政党、工会、各种社会团体、环保组织,
- 以及传媒和社会公众。
在市场经济国家里,一般广为接受的观点是公司存在的目的就是为了追求经济利润。
然而,也有许多人认为,公司组织也应该有一定的社会责任。
也许经济利益和社会责任在理想世界里能够达到水乳交融的境地,但是在现实社会中,它们至少存在一定程度的矛盾对立,这一点是无容置疑的。
一方面,企业为了生存必须获取经济利润。
具体而言,公司必须为它的股票提供较高的回报率,至少要比股东们把钱放在无风险的银行账户上的利率要高。
公司如果能够创造较高的利润,必将赢得投资者的信任,其结果通常是公司股票的价格一路飙升,公司各项目标得以实现。
当然,利润不仅仅是企业存在的结果,利润也是企业竞争力的源泉。
另一方面,公司是不仅仅共同努力往一个共有的目标的党和人网络和“经济机器”。 今天,任何企业的员工都在很大程度上成为了企业价值的重要组成部分(智力资产)。
为了激励他们努力工作,首先要在他们之间构建一种信任。
同样,在组织和它的外部环境之间也需要构建信任,如客户、供应商、政府以及其他利益团体。
这种信任感只能建立在可感知的安全感之上,这就要求企业要考虑到所有成员、所有利益相关者的利益。
Stakeholder Value Perspective[利益相关者价值观]
利益相关者价值观(Stakeholder Value Perspective, 或 Stakeholder Values Perspective)强调企业责任高于企业收益,将企业视作为各相关者的联合体,所以企业必须为所有的利益相关者服务。
利益相关者价值观的支持者认为,衡量企业成功与否的标准是所有利益相关者是否得到满足。 他们视利益相关者管理不仅是手段,而且是目的。 他们坚决认为,企业必须承担社会责任, 并且只有当企业为所有利益相关者谋取共同利益时,企业才算是尽到社会责任。
一个企业不仅仅是股东的“赚钱机器”, 它是各种资源提供者的联合体,目的是为所有人创造财富。 利益相关者价值观的支持者,不承认股东较之其他利益相关者对公司有更高的道德诉求,
只有承认所有利益相关者的道德诉求,才能够将经济价值以外的更多价值引入企业考量和追求的范围。 利益相关者管理不是为企业创造股东价值服务的,而是企业价值创造的一项基准。 只有充分调动所有员工的积极性,在所有相关者之间建立高度的互信,企业才能够为所有利益相关者创造共同价值,而这绝不仅仅是为了实现公平,这最终将造就社会财富的最大化。
