RACI 모델이란 무엇인가? 기술

RACI 모델은 상대적으로 간단한 모델로 조직의 변화 프로세스 기간동안 역할과 책임을 확인하기 위하여 활용될 수 있는 도구이다. 변화의 과정이 자동적으로 또는 자발적으로 작동하지 않는 것은 명백한 사실이다. 프로세스의 변화가 일어나기 위해서는 무언가를 해야만 한다. 그러므로 변화의 프로세스가 발생하기 위해서 누가 무엇을 해야하는지를 묘사하는 것이 유용하다.
 

RACI라는 용어 대신에 때때로 RASCI 또는 RASIC라는 개념이 사용된다.

RACI의 의미. 약어

• R = Responsible. 문제/프로젝트를 갖는다.
• A = Accountable 누구에게 책임이 있는가? 작업을 해도 좋다는 승인 또는 서명을 해야한다.
• S = 실행에 있어 자원을 제공하거나 지원역할을 할 수 있다.
• C = Consulted. 작업을 완수하는데 필요한 정보와 능력을 보유하고 있다.
• I는 = 정보통 이어야 한다. 결과를 통보해야 하나 컨설팅할 필요는 없다.

일반적으로 역할과 책임을 토의하고 합의하며 의사소통하는데 도움이 되는 기법들이 챠트에 의해 지원된다.

RACI 챠트 프로세스의 단계

1. 모든 관련 프로세스와 활동을 확인하고 챠트의 왼쪽측면에 나열한다.

2. 모든 역할을 확인하고 챠트의 상단에 나열한다.

3. 챠트의 빈자리를 완성한다. 각각의 프로세스상에서 누가 R, A, S, C 인지를 확인한다.

4. 일반원칙으로 모든 프로세스는 하나 그리고 단지 하나의 "을 가져야 한다. "R"을 갖지 않는 프로세스가 있을 때 갭이 발생한다. 주어진 프로세스에서 하나의 R을 갖는 복수의 역할이 있을 때 중복(overlap)이 발생한다.

5. 중복의 해결. 역할책임 맵의 모든 프로세스는 특정한 프로세스 담당자를 나타낸는 단 하나의 R을 포함하여야 한다. 복수의 R이 있을 경우 하부 프로세스를 좀 더 자세하게 나누고 개인의 책임을 분리해야 할 필요가 있다.

6. 갭을 해결한다. 하나의 프로세스에 대한 이 없는 역할이 확인되면 역할을 정의하는 권한이 있는 개인이 기존 또는 새로운 역할을 결정해야 한다. RASCI 맵을 업데이트하고 역할과 그 역할을 담당하는 개인을 명백히 한다.
