什么运筹学？ 释义

运筹学（Operation Research）事实上是个比较尴尬或者滑稽的术语，它与生产运营（Operation）没有丝毫关系，它的研究、应用与人们的传统想象也相去甚远。 一些比较准确的运筹学定义如下：

• 运筹学是一门研究如何运用高级分析方法帮助人们制定最佳决策的学科。 通过数学模型等专门技术来分析复杂形势，运筹学赋予决策者强大的力量，使其能够做出有效决策，构建高能系统。

• 运筹学是运用信息技术服务于信息化决策的一项专门学科。 它通过对复杂形势的理解，并通过这一理解来预测系统行为、提高系统表现，从而为决策提供一个基础。 在这个过程中，大量的工作是通过分析和运算技术发展起来的数学和计算机模型来完成的，这些模型对组织系统的人、机器以及流程进行了科学的整合。

• 运筹学就是将工程学、管理学、数学以及心理学等各学科中获取来的综合知识，应用于各行各业的决策领域的一门科学， 与之相关的学科领域还有--应用数学、计算机科学、经济学、工业工程学以及系统工程学。

• 运筹学是一门研究理性决策的科学，是以预测和分析系统行为、提高和优化系统绩效为目标，对复杂系统进行整合、设计的科学。 它包含管理决策、数学和计算机建模以及信息技术运用等方面的内容。
