Resumo

Que é a teoria X e Y? Descrição

Douglas McGregor, um psicólogo social americano, propôs seus modelos famosos da teoria X e da teoria Y em seu livro “The Human Side Of Enterprise” (1960).

Suposições

Os seres humanos inerente não gostam de trabalhar e tentá-lo-ão evitá-lo se puderem. Trabalho da opinião dos povos como sendo tão natural quanto o jogo e o descanso. Os seres humanos expend a mesma quantidade de esforço físico e mental em seu trabalho que em suas vidas confidenciais.
  Porque o trabalho do desagrado dos povos eles tem que coerced ou controlado pela gerência e ser ameaçado assim que trabalham duramente bastante. Desde que os povos são motivated, self-estarão dirigindo aos alvos da organização. O controle e a punição não são os únicos mecanismos deixaram povos executar.
  Os empregados médios querem ser dirigidos. A satisfação de trabalho é chave aos empregados acoplando e a assegurar sua dedicação.
  Os povos não gostam da responsabilidade. Os povos aprendem aceitar a responsabilidade e procurar a responsabilidade. Os seres humanos médios, sob as circunstâncias apropriadas, aceitarão não somente, mas nivelam naturalmente a responsabilidade da busca.
  Os seres humanos médios são desobstruídos e unambiguous e querem sentir seguros no trabalho. Os povos são imaginative e creativos. Seu ingenuity deve ser usado resolver problemas no trabalho.

Estilo da gerência

Gerência Authoritarian, dura. Gerência Participative, macia.

McGregor vê a teoria Y como o modelo preferível e o método da gerência, porém pensou da teoria Y era difícil de usar-se em operações em grande escala.


Theory Z - Ouchi

Em 1981, William Ouchi veio acima com um variant que combinasse práticas de gerência americanas e japonesas dar forma junto a Theory Z, tendo as seguintes características: emprego a longo prazo - tomada de decisão coletiva - responsabilidade individual - avaliação & promotion lentos - implícita, controle informal com explícito, medidas formalized - trajetos moderada especializados da carreira - e um interesse holístico para o empregado, including a família.
