윤리적인 붕괴의 7가지 징후는 무엇인가? 기술

법윤리학 교수인 Marianne Jennings의 윤리적 붕괴의 7가지 징후는 이사회, 집행진, 종업원, 애널리스트, 그리고 투자자들이, 측정할 수는 없지만 제무제표의 내용을 통제하고 집행진이 부정행위를 저지르는 기업들의 특징을 평가하고 너무 늦기 전에 발견하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다.

Enron 사태 이후 기업은 회계보고 시스템, 윤리 담당자, 윤리 강령, 윤리 교육 및 많은 최고의 방법들을 갖춰놓고 있다. 그리고 약간의 차이로 범죄를 예방하지 못하고, 지속적인 소동, 분쟁, 홍보문제 등의 상황에 계속 직면하고 있다.

Jennings는 윤리적인 분쟁을 예측하는 7가지 요인을 확인하고 다음과 같은 대책을 제공하였다.

1. 그러한 수치를 유지하는 압력. 모든 기업과 조직은 목표를 갖고 있으며 그러한 수치를 달성해야하는 압력을 느낀다. 그러나 윤리적 문화가 빈약한 기업은 그러한 목표달성을 잘못된 영역으로 몰고 갔다. 이러한 기업의 직원들은 보고하고 싶은 수치로 부터 시작하여 역으로 작업을 하여 회계해석을 사용하여 최종적으로 사전에 설정한 수치에 모든 것을 맟춘다.

   • 대책 1 : (수치로 표현된) 목표를 윤리적인 가치(경계)로 포위한다. 비교: Ashridge 미션 모델

   • 대책 2 : 사전에 설정한 경계를 넘는 사람은 해고한다.

   • 대책 3 : 비언어적이고 뉘앙스가 있는 커뮤니케이션 및 신호를 감독한다.

2. 두려움과 침묵. 직원들이 문제를 목격하고도 침묵하는 형태의 문화 만일 직원들이 자신들의 관심사를 나눈다면 그들은 조직에서 해고되거나 매장된다. 비교: 리더십 형태

   • 대책 4 : 직원들에게 나쁜 뉴스가 일어난다는 것을 말한다.

   • 대책 5 : 직원들을 신뢰하고 그들이 지혜로움을 믿는다고 말한다.

3. 젊은 친구들(`uns) 및 태산같은 CEO. 아첨꾼, 예스멘 및 다른 어리석은 사람들로 둘러쌓여 있다. 우상적이고 숭배받는 CEO.

   • 대책 1 : 우상적인 CEO를 조심한다. 비교: Charismatic Leadership [카리스마 리더십]

   • 대책 2 : 가장 특출난 성과를 낸 사람이 가 되더라도 항상 질문을 한다. 비교: Core Group Theory [핵심그룹 이론]

   • 대책 4 : 개인적인 삶의 행동은 중요하다.

   • 대책 5 : 젊은 친구들을 만들고 형성한다.

4. 약한 이사회. 이사진이 경험이 부족하고 친구들로 구성되고 이해타산적이며 충분한 시간과 노력을 기울이지 않을 수 있다.

   • 대책 1 : 스스로 강력한 이사가 된다. 갈등에 대해 더 깊이 파고들고 지배구조의 신화에 빠지지 않는다.

   • 대책 2 : 직원들로 부터 정보를 입수한다.

   • 대책 3 : 이사진, 관리자 및 그들이 주장하는 결과에 이의를 제기한다.

   • 대책 4 : 특전에 주의한다.

   • 대책 5 : 주변을 살핀다.

5. 갈등. 간지러운 곳을 긁어주는 분위기가 분명히 존재한다. 편애주의와 족벌주의.

   • 대책 1 : 이해관계의 충돌을 믿는다.

   • 대책 2 : 분명한 이해관계충동에 대한 정책을 설정하고 규칙을 시행한다.

   • 대책 3 : 무엇이 기업에 속하고 무엇이 고객에 속하는지를 구분하고, 직원들이 이 둘을 접하게 하지 않는다.

   • 대책 4 : 분쟁에 대한 정책을 철회하지 않는다.

   • 대책 5 : 소유와 상관관계를 검토한다.

   • 대책 6 : 간단하게 유지한다. 분쟁을 다루는 데는 단지 2가지 방법만이 있다는 것을 명심한다. 그것을 제거하거나 폭로하는 것이다.

6. 어느 누구도 혁신을 좋아하지 않는다. 우리는 너무 영리하고 혁신적이어서 세속적인 회계규치, 기업 지배구조, 심지어 기초적인 경제원리도 우리에게 적용되지 않는다는 믿음.
