Resumo

Cultural DimensionsDe acordo com Geert Hofstede, não há nenhuma coisa como um método da gerência ou uma teoria de gerência universal, válido através do mundo inteiro. Mesmo a palavra “gerência” tem origens e meanings diferentes nos países durante todo o mundo. A gerência não é um fenômeno que possa ser isolado de outros processos que ocorrem na sociedade. Interage com o o que acontece na família, na escola, na política, e no governo. Relaciona-se obviamente também à religião e à opinião sobre a ciência.


O cinco Cultural Dimensions de Hofstede

O modelo cultural das dimensões de Geert Hofstede é um framework que descreva cinco sortes (dimensões) das diferenças/perspectives do valor entre culturas nacionais:

  • Distância de Power. O grau de desigualdade entre os povos que a população de um país considera como o normal.

  • Individualism contra o collectivism. A extensão a que sensação dos povos são supostos tomar cuidado para, ou ser importados com por se, suas famílias ou organizações que pertencem a.

  • Masculinity contra o femininity. A extensão a que uma cultura é conducive ao dominance, ao assertiveness e à aquisição das coisas. Contra uma cultura que seja mais conducive aos povos, aos sentimentos e à qualidade de vida.

  • Vacância da incerteza. O grau a que os povos em um país preferem estruturou situações unstructured excedentes.

  • Prazo contra a orientação a curto prazo. Prazo: valores orientados para o futuro, como o saving e o persistence. A curto prazo: valores orientados para o passado e atual, como o respeito para a tradição e obrigações sociais cumprindo.

Para compreender a gerência em um país, um deve ter o conhecimento e empathy com a cena local inteira. Entretanto, as contagens do exame estatístico original que Hofstede realizou devem fazer todos ciente que os povos em outros países podem pensar, senti-lo, e agir muito diferentemente de yourself, mesmo quando confrontadas com os problemas básicos da sociedade. Toda a pessoa que trata da gerência ou da estratégia é recomendada bem recordar constantemente as lições da teoria de Cultural Dimensions de Hofstede. Os seres humanos têm uma tendência de ilusão pensar e sentir e agir de suas próprias experiências, especial quando trabalham internacional.
