إقرار بالسبب والتأثيرمركزي نحو مفهوم نظرية القيود. قارنت: سبّبت وأنجزت رسم بيانيّ. تعطيناالعمليات الفكرية بنظرية القيود سلسلة الخطوات الذي تدمج تأثير السبب وتجربتنا وحدسنا لكسب المعرفة. نظرية القيود فلسفة قابلة للإثبات. بمعرفة كيف يجب أن نفكر، فنحن يمكن أن نحسن أوضاع فهمنا للعالم حولنا ؛ بالفهم الأفضل الذي يمكن أن نحسنه
 

المنظمات شبكة معقدة من الناس والأجهزة والطرق والمواد والإجراءات. هذا التعقيد المفصل سيئ بما فيه الكفاية. ثم يضاف إليه التعقيد الديناميكى لتغيير الزبائن، الموردون، القوة العاملة، التعليمات، الخ. وأنت لديك صورة لواجهة التحدي اليوم وهى إدارة فريق

عادة، الإدارة تقسم المنظمة إلى أجزاء أصغر سهلة الانقياد. إن الهدف هو زيادة أداء كل جزء. والتحسين العالمي مفترض أن يكون مساوي مجموعه التحسينات المحلية

خطأ! الادعاء أن نظرية القيود هو تغيير لأغلب المتغيرات في منظمة فسيكون عندها التأثير صغير على الأداء العالمي - الحد الأدنى. فهناك قليل جدا متغيرات، ربما واحد فقط، حيث التحسين هام في أسباب الأداء المحلية هو تحسين هام في الأداء العالمي. مثل هذه المتغير يسمى "قيد". و يمكن أن تقارنه بالوصلة الأضعف في سلسلة قارنت: [غنتّ شرت].

الخطوات في نظرية القيود. النظرة

إن جوهر نظرة القيود إذا تريد نيل أكثر من هدفك، فأنت يجب ان

1. تحدد قيدك
2. ركّز على القيد. الشركة يجب أن تعرف هدفها أولا والشروط الضرورية للإنجاز. ثم يجب أن تميز القيود ، التى تحدد مستوى إنجاز ذلك الهدف.
3. اتبع ذلك. عملية من تحسين جارية:

   1. تحديد القيد

   2. استغلّه

   3. ألحق كل العمليات الأخرى بضرورة استغلال القيد

   4. إذا احتيج بعد الخطوات 2 ، 3 لقدرة أكثر لمقابلة طلب السوق، ارفع القيد

   5. عد إلى الخطوة 1 لكن لا تترك قصور ذاتي يصبح قيد للنظام
