Che cosa è L'EBIT?

Risultato Ante Oneri Finanziari include tutti i profitti provenienti dalle operazioni, prima che vengono dedotti gli interessi e le imposte sul reddito. Normalmente, i profitti non operativi e le spese non operative non sono inclusi nell'EBIT. Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) è un metodo tradizionale di misurazione che non include il costo di capitale. Altre parole per l'EBIT sono Utile Operativo e Reddito Operativo.

Calcolo dell'EBIT

La formula dell'EBIT è immediata:

      Vendite Nette

-     Spese Operative

      Utile Operativo (EBIT)

Un vantaggio dell'EBIT è che è facile da calcolare e da osservare a livello divisionale o sub-divisionale di una azienda.

Uno svantaggio dell'EBIT è che non include il costo del capitale. Paragonare il VAE, il CFROI e Margine Economico, che comprendono tutti il costo del capitale.

Anziché EBIT, i termini Utile Operativo e Reddito Operativo sono ampiamente usati.
