A cultura datilografa (Deal e Kennedy)

Terrence Deal e Allan Kennedy eram entre o primeiro a escrever sobre a cultura corporativo. Em suas 1982 culturas corporativos do livro: O Rites e os Rituals da vida corporativo, definem a cultura organizational enquanto as coisas da maneira começam feitas ao redor aqui.


Deal e Kennedy argumentam a cultura corporativo são baseados em bloquear de seis elementos: história, valores e opinião, rituals e ceremonies, histórias, figura heroic e a rede cultural informal dos storytellers, dos gossipers, dos whisperers, dos espiões e dos priests. Seus tipos modelo da cultura distinguem quatro tipos da cultura corporativo, baseados em dois elementos:

  • Velocidade do gabarito: Como seja rapidamente o gabarito e as recompensas fornecidos (através qual os povos são ditos dos estão fazendo um trabalho bom ou mau).
  • Grau de risco: O nível de fazer exame do risco (grau de incerteza).

A combinação destes resultados de dois elementos em quatro tipos de culturas corporativos:

  1. Cultura Macho do Resistente-Guy (gabarito rápido e recompensa, elevadas - risco):
    • Resultados da elevação - risco e a diminuição ou o aumento potencial elevado do Stress da recompensa.
    • O foco sobre agora, individualism prevalece sobre o teamwork.
    • Exemplos típicos: anunciar, agência corretora, esportes.
  2. Cultura Trabalh-Dura, Jogo-Dura (gabarito rápido e recompensa, baixas - risco):
    • Resultados do Stress da quantidade do trabalho melhor que incerteza.
    • Foco na ação de alta velocidade, níveis elevados da energia.
    • Exemplos típicos: vendas, restaurantes, companhias do software.
  3. Cultura Process (gabarito lento e recompensa, baixas - risco):
    • O Stress é geralmente baixo, mas pode vir da política e do stupidity internos do sistema.
    • Foco em detalhes e no excellence process.
    • Exemplos típicos: burocracias, bancos, companhias de seguro, serviços públicos.
  4. Cultura da Apost-Seu-Companhia (gabarito lento e recompensa, elevadas - risco):
    • Os resultados do Stress da elevação - risco e atrasam antes de saber se as ações pagarem fora.
    • Foco no prazo, na preparação e no planeamento.
    • Exemplos típicos: companhias pharmaceutical, fabricantes de avião, companhias prospecting de óleo.
