نظرية الاحتمالات صنف من نظرية السلوكيات التى تدّعي بأنه لبس هناك طريق افضل لتنظيم المنشاة ، قيادة شركة ، أو لصنع قرارات. ان فعالية المنظمّة/القيادة/أسلوب اتخاذ القرار قد تصلح بعض الحالات ، وقد لا تنجح في حالات أخرى. وبتعبير اخر: الأفضلية فى التنظيم/القيادة/اتخاذ القرار يعتمد على أساليب مختلفة داخليّة و(عوامل) قيود خارجيّة.

عوامل نظرية الاحتمالات

تتضمّن بعض مثل هذه (العوامل) القيود :

• حجم المنظمة.
• تكيف الشركة مع بيئتها.
• الفروق بين أنشطة موارد وعمليات التشغيل .
• افتراضات المديرين حول الموظفين.
• الإستراتيجيات.
• التكنولوجيا المستخدمة.
• الخ

1. نظرية الاحتمالات فى المنظمة

1. لا يوجد طريق عالمي أو افضل الطرق لادارة المنظمة.
2. التصميم من تنظيم ونظام فرعيّه ينبغي "لاءمت" مع البيئة.
3. التنظيمات الفعّالة لا يجب فقط ان تلاءم البيئة ، ولكن أيضا يجب عليها الملاءمة بين النظم الفرعيّه.
4. ان حاجات التنظيم ستكون مستوفاة على نحو أفضل عندما تصمّم بشكل صحيح ويتناسب أسلوب الادارة الى كل من المهام المقامة وطبيعة عمل المجموعة.

2. نظرية الاحتمالات من القيادة

في نظرية الاحتمالات من القيادة ، نجاح القائد يتمثل من عوامل مختلفة وبالشكل التابع ، المهمة ، و او متغيرات المجموعة . فعالية الأسلوب المعطاه من سلوك القائد تحتمل على الطلبات اتى تفرضها الحالة. تحث هذا النظريات لاستعمال أساليب مختلفة من القيادة المناسبة للحاجات التى خلقت بحالات مختلفة بالنظام. بعض من هذا النظريات هى:

• احتمال نظرية © [فيدلر]): نظرية فيدلر هى الاحدث والأكثر دراسة بالابحاث وبشكل واسع . وقد ابتعد منهج فيدلر عن نماذج السمة والسلوك ليؤكّد أنّ اداء مجموعة تحتمل او تعتمد على الاعداد النفسيّ للقيادة وعلى ثلاثة متغيرات سياقيّة: محيط المجموعة، هيكل المهمة ، وموقع قوة القيادة . تفسّر النظرية أنّ اداء المجموعة هو نتيجة تفاعل عاملان عرفت هذه العوامل باسلوب القيادة والاوضاع المحبذة . في نموذج فيدلر ، فعالية القيادة هى نتائج التفاعل بين أسلوب القائد ومواصفات البيئة في التى يعمل بها.
• نظرية وضعية © [هرسي] & [بلنشرد]). هذه النظرية إمتداد من بليك ونموذج شبكة ماوتين الادارية ، و نظرية ردّين لأسلوب الادارة ثلاثي الابعاد . مدّد نموذج الفكرة من مفهوم العلاقة وأبعاد المهام بين القيادة ، وبعد المبادرة التى أضيفت.

3. نظرية الاحتمالات من اتخاذ القرار

 نظرية احتمال المشاركة بالقرار أو نظرية القرار المعياريّ لفاروم و يتّون: وفقا لهذا النموذج ، تعتمد فعالية إجراءات القرار على عدد من مظاهر هذا الوضع:

• اهمية نوعية وقبول القرار .
• كم المعلومات الموافقة التى يتملكها القائد والتابعين .
• على الارجح ان ما سيقبله التابعين هى القرارات الاستبداديّة ، أو اعلى الارجح ان التابعين ستتعاون كى تصنع قرار جيّد إن قاموا بالمساهمة.
• كم الخلافات تجاه التابعين ونسبة الى خياراتهم.

نظرية الاحتمالات ونظرية الوضعية

نظرية الاحتمالات تتماثل مع نظرية الوضعية في افتراض عدم وجود طرق بسيطة والتى ستكون دوما صحيحةّ. الفرق الرئيسية أنّ نظرية الموقف المتعلق ستركز أكثر على التصرفات ألتيّ يجب ان يتبعها القائد . عوامل المواقف المعطاة - غالبا تخص السلوك التابع. حيث أنّ نظرية الاحتمالات تأخذ نظرة اشمل ، التى تتضمّن عوامل محتملة لإمكانيات القائد ، لكنها تحتوى ايضا على متغيرات أخرى ضمن الموقف.
