Financial Inclusion (with the Accreditation)

Hi Can, we have found that the best way of tackling poverty in deprived communities is a three-pronged approach:
1. We promote the use of credit unions
as an alternative to less attractive forms of credit (for example, unlicensed lenders),
2. We promote low-cost home contents insurance
3. We encourage individuals to consider cheaper fuel
(ie gas and electricity - this can have a significant impact on a low-income household).
While this is usually done in a structured manner, the principle is easily transferred and can be tailored to suit the needs of an individual or community (or indeed, a country!).
