A trait is a tendency you have most probably inherited although it could have been learned. A behavior is an action. Here is an example. Let's say you get impatient in traffic. That is a trait. Once you yell at somebody, that is a behavior. You can hide your unpleasant traits, but not your unpleasant behaviors. Charismatic leaders are trait-driven. They have characteristics that most of us just don't have. While a debate exists as to whether those traits can be learned, my feeling is that you either have charisma or you don't. (...) Read more? - Are charismatic leaders power wielders (Editor: ~users of energy) or power yielders (Editor: ~creators of energy)?
- Can they be positive and negative leaders?
- If there is a difference and I think there is, what drives the differences?
- Are there traits that are similar between the two groups?
