Turnaround Management at an Organisational Level

In my opinion the need for turnaround always applies at the local level
. It is the result of the collective under-performance of a number of contributing departments or business units that leads to the eventual demise of an organisation.
If you wait until the whole shebang has, or is failing it is probably too late to breath life back into the corpse.
If the organisation has reached that level it is probably better to let corporate darwinism take its course.
