Jagdish B Acharya, Consultant, India, Premium Member
Following factors may be necessary for developing team spirit.
1. Objectives - Without common and agreed broad objectives team may become directionless and dysfunctional.
2. Insufficiency - Team members must feel insufficient in meeting objectives individually to appreciate need of team.
3. Diversity - Team members must have diverse experience or roles to complement each other and avoid conflicts.
4. Contribution - All members must contribute in some manner so that process of team working progresses well.
5. Results - Some intermediate results should be achieved and celebrated to keep up the motivation and prevent it from becoming meaningless.
