How to Create Awareness for Time Management

One good way to to make people realize they need to manage their time and focus on what's really important to them is a time management awareness excercise called the "10 + 5 excercise".
Here's the generic process:
  1. Ask each participant to write down 10 things he/she did at work yesterday (in any order, write just 1 or 2 keyword per activity) (6 mins)
  2. Ask each participant to write down 5 things he/she expects to be discussed at his/her next performance appraisal. (6 mins)
  3. Ask each participant to combine the 2 lists by indicating on the first list which of the 10 have a DIRECT link to the second list (8 mins).
⇨ Please share any comments, further information or experiences wrt creating awareness for the need for time management below. Thank you.
