Maximum no of Words or Characters in Posts

	          		Is there a limit to the number of words for each category/section? I noticed that if inserted my article it gets chopped off and it differs from my personal page and from other page.

Or is it because of web browsers support? Please advise. Thanks.

				                The Maximum Number of Characters in Posts

													Hi Wan,

Thanks for asking. Indeed there are maximums per category. Two main reasons for that are:

- Spam protection

- We keep it short and concise (without being too short).

Here are the current maxima per category:

Forum Topic : 4000 characters.

Comment : 2000 characters.

In most cases this should be more than enough. Note that after you clicked: "Post" you can still modify your entry during 3 hours by clicking "Edit" (at the end of your topic). This in fact includes the possibility to enter more than the previously mentioned maxima. In other words: in the 2nd stage you can enter more.
