Secure Password Procedure

													Thank you for your suggestion. Indeed we send the password through email. It is simple for anybody.

This is very safe, provided people are using a password to access their PC/phone and email. If people are not protecting their PC/phone and email with a password, they're in trouble anyway as anybody could then start the procedure to change all passwords that the user is using on almost any platform, software or service.

This is also the background why we have always preferred to initially generate a random password for the member—instead of that they enter it themselves. This avoids to some extent that people use the same password for multiple systems or platforms.

													Today, we have multiple modes of communicating and many different "solutions" for secure sharing of data. Two layer authentication, where you establish a password and a challenge response that is delivered via text, email or phone call is probably the best current solution.

First, you have the initial username and password but it then has to be authenticated via a separate process which is privately established with the two parties. This can be a good solution to establish a secure communication portal.

So I would suggest looking into two layer authentication, it renders a simple password down to the first step of the authentication and makes much of the tools used by hackers relatively useless..
