													I think Covid-19 was a strategic window for companies like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, because people were forced to work remotely and needed simple tools like these to connect. As a result, these companies thrived.

				                Good Strategic Window Example

													Agreed. A very good example. Note that this exceptional strategic window is based on at least 2 major things:

1. MARKET: The arrival of Covid-19 and the sudden and huge need for remote meetings.

2. PRODUCT: The need for an extremely simple product (allowing people unexperienced with video conferencing to do it).

Skype was dominating this video meeting market for a long time, has many more features, but is more complex… It would be interesting to know if they were also able to take advantage of this situation.
