Stakeholders Involvement in the Strategic Change Management Process in Public Organizations
DAVID M. NJOKA, ACCOUNTANT, Kenya

I would really appreciate to receive some positive input on stakeholders involvement in the strategic change management process in public organizations.

If you find the key and have a relationship with your stakeholders then it's easier to get them on the same page. And simple acknowledgement and logical reasoning has always worked for me. Believe in what you are doing and your sincerity will come across to ensure you get all the facts and/or perceptions.

Involve Stakeholders by Asking Them what they Would Like to See You do Differently

David, in my practice as a coach, one of the popular approaches I follow is Stakeholder Centered Coaching.
At the simplest, it requires you to ask your stakeholders suggestions on what they think you (your organisation) should do in an area that concerns them.
After you have decided what you will do, engage them again and ask them for their feedback as well as "feedforward" (suggestions on how you can implement your strategy in a way that they are able to see and experience the change).
