Alignment BetweenIT Strategy and Organization's Strategy
NDONG, Project Manager, Burkina Faso
Everyone recognizes that information technology (IT) is critical to today’s business strategy and its added value to the effectiveness of strategy depends on organizational factors. Among these factors, there are IT facilities and human resources capabilties.
Along these lines, Kraemer and Gurbaxani (2004) reported that IT is precious, but its value depends on factors, including the organizational resources of the company, the business partners of the organization and the competitive environment.
That is why I think any investment in IT should be in line with human resource capabilities and infrastructure availabilities.
