Storytelling Shows You're Human
When we share our stories as business leaders, we build empathy and rapport and develop our emotional intelligence. Before I came to the actual presentation (called: “distortions disturb deranged delinquents” a ‘deranged ‘ subject on which to talk about ‘delinquents’), I invested more than half my allotted time on stories moving around some upcountry folklore, and then my presentation was the most applauded that evening.
I had done nothing except pouring spice and pepper even before the meal was served.
