Partnerships and Stakeholders in the Agriculture Industry

An agriculture industry is yet to be established in development countries because of limited resources, lack of innovation and research, and ineffective extension services in agriculture.
Governments departments are doing their best in some respects, but they are lacking coordination to bridge the gap for the attainment of sustainability.
The concept of PARTNERSHIP is emerging in developing farming societies, but it needs a proper strategy and framework to make it worthwhile.

The main stakeholders of the agriculture industry are:
- Government (Ministries of agriculture, finance, commerce and industry)
- Private Companies
- Academia
- Financial Institutes
- National, International Institutions related to agri-business
- Media
- Farming cooperatives/groups

What should be their role in agriculture industry development?
