Abuse of Special Purpose Vehicles

A vehicle that can cause much mayhem once control is lost by the steering party. In developing countries some governments have found this vehicle suitable to carry out so called developmental work. The SPV in these countries are given huge sums of taxpayers money to do work valued at millions of dollars to carry out work unrelated to the needs of these very taxpayers. At the end of these projects is the now expected outcry of massive corruption and enrichment of a few which frequently involves certain members of the government and the board of directors of these SPV's.
