BOP and Top
The top dwellers seem to enjoy seeing the BOP dwellers. It's like their 'success or achievment' is measured or recognized by what they can afford but which the BOP can not.
Last year before I knew of CK Prahalad's profound work, I called my little children and discussed with them about the huge business opportunity with the BOP. I charged them to all think about that product or service is needed by nearly all, but will be so affordable that even a truck pusher can afford it. I told them, such product can sell more than a million a day, and with that, they would have made something like air and water, which everyone needs, and no one will be able to assume an air of superiority over another because everyone can afford it.
