Strengthening the Bottom of the Pyramid
It's a very deep concept. In fact the donations and government's grantings merely maintain the poverty due to the inexistence of investments. We can easily note that the money and resources are circulating only in the firms and governments. Furthermore the bottom of pyramid just uses and consumes what is produced in its upper levels what generates incomes for them. It's also true that to generate incomes we need savings and investment. So to develop this market means to generate income in the bottom of the pyramid and invest in it in order to structure it and make it able to run by itself. It's very difficult to consider a loosely structured market where the per capita income is about 750 dollars per year.
Anyway it is necessary to make efforts to "lift up" this market by giving it a kickoff in matter of investments that must to be realised mainly by companies and governments. By creating or bettering structures, by the skilling of local workforce and by the development of entrepreneurship.
