Hi, can anyone explain in a few words what is the main difference between Porter's Diamond and Value Chain models?

Value Chain can Fit in Diamond Model
From my point of view, I think the Value Chain can fit in the Diamond Model, because the Diamond Model explains why a specific industry or company got high competition in the international market. But value chain is something internal of a company, that explains each process, areas and competition adv.

Value Chain and Diamond Models. Main Difference
Yes. Both are aimed at analyzing and achieving advantage. Their level is the main difference:
- The Value Chain model is used for internal analysis of the activities and processes inside a firm to achieve a competitive advantage over other firms.
- The Diamond model is used at a higher — national — level, the analysis of the market / industry situation surrounding firms to achieve a comparative advantage over other nations, clusters.
