On 7: Lean Staffing is Missing in Developing Countries

I would like to comment on the attribute of lean staffing (#7). In developing countries, this is a big problem as there is a lot of over staffing due to political reasons, family and friends gratification. This leads to poor staff performance and difficulties in discipline.

Overstaffing in Developing Countries

As said overstaffing due to political reasons etc leads to all sorts of difficulties. Employee incompetencies in such circumstance is difficult to rectify. Because of selfrightiousness there is no susceptablity for training or correction, leading to further decline. A downward spiral develops.
