The Need for Peace of Mind
I think in this world the most basic need is: peace of mind... which is not achievable by money, and status. It does not seem to fit into McClelland's theory... Pls advise me, thank you.

Theory of Needs
Hello Saif. I think money is making you happy, you just need to have it. How can one be happy without money in this system which we created and live in? It is indeed true that we do not really need money. But thanks to marketing we developed the need to own the things that we see at others. We desire more and more and in case we have money our stock is full one day.
Then one realises that money does not make happy anymore, as well as the products and services we obtain. In case someone was on a lonely island he would not care for wealth and recognition of others due to his property. His primary needs were food, shelter and affiliation to his natural environment. (and maybe a wife).
I thank everyone for additional feedback. Have a great day.
