Limitations to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

One of the limitations to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is that it does not take into account the unsatisfied needs.
In addition, what about the must-haves; that, in my opinion, are prior to needs?

Limitations to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs does take into account unsatisfied needs. Unsatisfied needs always restrict the way to need gratification. Restrictions in need gratification of an individual leads to fixation problems and hence behavior disorders.
Nirvana / self actualization is possible only for individuals who are capable to overcome such weaknesses of body and mind.

Maslow's excellence appears to be giving us a route plan through raw fields when there were no roads, but now we need to give rest to his sacred soul. We may not justify our actions if we think of uniformly apply Maslow's study in the present context.
