Using Kotter After Cameron and Quinn's Competing Values Framework
At the moment I am describing the organisational situation using the
competing values framework (Cameron and Quinn) and would like to know if anybody has remarks/suggestions on how to best translate this to the 8-step model of Kotter. The change happening at the organisation is severe due to a new ERP system and I think the 8-step model will best facilitate this change.
Thank you for your time.

Competing Values and Change
Hi - I imagine you've seen the Hooijberg and Petrock article on change and the competing values framework:
Human Resource Management, spring 1993, vol. 32, number 1, pp. 29-50.
I used a piece by Fred Nickols in some exec ed recently, "Four Change Management Strategies" - just Google it. I found it interesting to draw correspondences between this model and the CVF. If you're interested I can send you some slides on how I made the links (I'm starting to find Kotter maybe a bit to "ideal" to be of much use - even though it's certainly a very clear and comprehensible one - but that's just me).
